We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient clinic team. As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy to our adult & pediatric patient population. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities :
Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations. Develop and implement patient treatment plans and therapists. Prescribe and manage appropriate psychotropic medications. Provide individual therapy sessions as needed. Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
Qualifications :
Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from an accredited program. Current PMHNP certification and state licensure. Minimum of 1 year experience working as a PMHNP in an outpatient setting preferred. Strong diagnostic and assessment skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
