Psychiatric APRN/PA Position Overview:
As a Psychiatric
APRN / PA
at Mobile Physician Services you are a part of a team that provides primary care, wound management, podiatry, pain management, palliative care, psychiatric care, and optometry to patients who otherwise would not be able to receive care. As a Psychiatric APRN/PA, you are supported by a dedicated team that includes medical assistants, schedulers, and full billing and coding department, giving you the ability to focus solely on your patients. As a Psychiatric APRN/PA you'll partner with local home health agencies, laboratory, diagnostic imaging companies, DME providers, and local vendors to ensure that patients have all the services and supplies they require.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat behavioral and psychiatric health. Provide psychotherapy to patients. Medication management for patient networks. Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Analyze and interpret patient history, new symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to appropriately diagnose and develop treatment plans. Maintain standards of care and professional practice guidelines. Collaborate with Specialists to develop treatment plans for high-risk patients. Identify needs to modify behavior associated with health risks. Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding self-management of diagnosis. Oversee assigned Primary Care Team of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physicians Assistants.
Required Skills:
Licensed APRN/PA in the state of Florida. 2+ years of experience.
Active / Unrestricted
medical license. Ability to monitor and identify when a patient needs to be referred to a specialized care. Proven exemplary interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Experience professional external communication experience, verbal and written. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, caregivers, employees, vendors, and community members. Strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain and manage patient confidentiality while handling patient information and electronic medical records.
Preferred Skills:
DEA registration. Basic Microsoft Office Suite experience. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (EMR). Prior experience in Geriatrics.
