Job Description

Cerebrum Health Care Fl is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional neurological medical care to patients in Gainesville Fl, and surrounding areas . This role primarily serves post-acute facilities including acute rehab, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and assisted living facilities (ALF). We have a robust infrastructure designed to reduce provider burnout, particularly with charting responsibilities. Strong bedside communication skills are essential to effectively translate medical terminology to patients and their families, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
Assess the health status of patients, including injury diagnosis and treatment. Perform comprehensive medical examinations and order diagnostic tests such as CT scans and EEGs. Review medical history and laboratory test results to detect diseases and recommend follow-up therapies.
Patient Care and Collaboration:
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and deliver patient care. Recommend referrals to specialists or other healthcare centers as necessary. Educate patients on possible treatments, medications, surgeries, and other options for recovery.
Medical Management:
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans for patients. Ensure proper documentation and charting to maintain accurate patient records. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in neurological care and integrate best practices into patient care.
Qualifications:
Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a valid Florida license. Strong clinical skills in neurological care and experience in post-acute settings preferred. Excellent bedside communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to improving patient care and reducing provider burnout.
Preferred Candidates:
Residents of the above mentioned area in FL and surrounding areas are highly preferred.
