Position Overview Specialized Depression Clinic is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our health clinic. The successful candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment to adult patients with a variety of mental health conditions. This position is ideal for a provider who values clinical independence while also enjoying the support of a collaborative team. ® therapy. Experience with these treatments is helpful but not required, as training and clinical support can be provided. Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Evaluate patients' psychiatric, medical, social, and medication histories Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe, manage, and monitor psychiatric medications Assess medication effectiveness, side effects, adherence, and potential interactions Provide ongoing medication-management follow-up appointments Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and expected outcomes Order and review laboratory testing when clinically appropriate Evaluate patients for advanced treatment options, including TMS and

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically necessary Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals Respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition or level of risk Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow all applicable clinical, ethical, regulatory, and prescribing requirements Participate in clinical discussions, case consultations, and treatment-planning meetings as needed Maintain a professional, respectful, and patient-centered approach to care Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida Current national board certification appropriate to the position Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification is strongly preferred Current DEA registration and Florida prescribing authority Previous experience evaluating and treating patients in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting Working knowledge of psychiatric medications, diagnostic criteria, and evidence-based treatment approaches Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and respond appropriately to psychiatric concerns Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and promptly Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience Experience providing outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management Experience treating depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions Familiarity with TMS, SPRAVATO, treatment-resistant depression, or other advanced psychiatric treatments Experience working with electronic health records and electronic prescribing systems Comfortable working in a private outpatient psychiatric practice Strong organizational and time-management skills Position Details Part-time, hourly position Hourly rate is negotiable and based on qualifications and psychiatric experience Schedule and number of hours may be discussed during the interview process Outpatient psychiatric setting Established clinical and administrative support Opportunity to work with traditional and advanced psychiatric treatment options Collaborative practice environment with psychiatrists, therapists, technicians, and administrative staff About Our Clinic We are an outpatient psychiatric practice committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatment.
