Job Duties:
Consulting with the medical director, Director of Nursing, nursing staff, and clinical team on patient care and services Developing, evaluating, and reviewing patient treatment plans and assessments as needed History & Physical exams, and Initial Psychiatric Evaluations for new admissions and medical/psychiatric patient follow-ups on a regular basis Prescribing medication to patients as needed Attends staff training and meetings as required by the employer Communicating with pharmacy as needed Signing off on GeneSight testing and ordering/reviewing lab results as needed Completing notes and signing off on orders within 24hrs of the patient being seen Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursing Licensed PMHNP/psych-experienced FNP with board certification Graduate of an ANCC or AANP accredited nurse practitioner program Have an X-Waiver (preferred) and DEA license with active prescriptive authority Able to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written Ability to deal with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a nonjudgmental, compassionate fashion Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources Job requires regular sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, writing, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, implements, or office equipment; talk and hear; stand and walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally be able to assist an adult weighing 100-200 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Work Environment:
This position is an in-person/office work environment. There will be daily face-to-face interaction with staff and clients. The workday will vary, but it will often include sitting at a desk, working on a computer, meeting with clients, and completing paperwork.
