In this vital role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans across diverse medical settings. Your expertise will support patient recovery, promote health education, and ensure high-quality care delivery in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, assess vital signs, and evaluate patient histories to determine health status. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, procedures, and follow-up care. Administer injections, perform suturing, and utilize sterile techniques for various procedures such as dermal fillers or spinal taps. Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Provide telehealth consultations, triage patients remotely, and coordinate referrals for specialized care or diagnostic evaluations. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research initiatives, quality improvement projects, and case management activities to enhance care standards. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid certification in your state or region. Proven experience in medical office settings, hospital environments, or urgent care clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with procedures including IV infusion, venipuncture, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques. Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with ICU or Level I Trauma Center settings highly desirable. Skilled in managing complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, or hospice & palliative medicine. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children, elderly patients in memory or dementia care units, or individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; experience in telehealth is a plus.
