Job Description

About Us Midwest Medical Clinic is a physician-led internal medicine and primary care practice in the Quad Cities. We're growing quickly and adding a second advanced practice provider to keep pace with patient demand. You'll work alongside an experienced supervising physician and an established NP/PA in a modern outpatient clinic built around thorough, patient-centered medicine. Why Join a Private Practice Instead of a Hospital System Independently owned, not hospital-system employed: no RVU quotas, no corporate productivity pressure, and real time with each patient. Direct daily access to the supervising physician, decisions made by the people actually seeing patients, and a small team where your voice matters. What You'll Do You'll manage a full outpatient adult medicine panel: preventive exams and annual wellness visits, acute illness visits, and ongoing management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, and cardiopulmonary disease. You'll order and interpret labs and imaging, build individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and counsel patients on evidence-based lifestyle changes. Documentation is in athenaOne, and you'll work closely with physician leadership and clinical staff to keep care coordinated and consistent. Who We're Looking For We'd love someone with outpatient internal medicine, family practice, or adult primary care experience, but that's not a requirement. New grads are genuinely welcome here, especially if you bring strong academic performance, excellent preceptor references, and a real interest in mastering internal medicine. What matters most is sound clinical judgment, clear communication with patients and colleagues, and a collaborative mindset. We invest in developing our providers rather than expecting them to hit the ground running alone. Qualifications Master's degree or higher from an accredited FNP, AGNP, or PA program; current or eligible Iowa NP or PA license; current national board certification through AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA; and active or eligible DEA and Iowa Controlled Substance Act registration. Schedule Monday through Friday, daytime clinic hours. No hospital rounding, fully outpatient, with dedicated clinical and administrative support so you're not doing it all yourself. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based bonus potential. Paid time off and paid holidays. CME allowance and dedicated CME time. Retirement plan with employer match. Malpractice coverage. Support for license and credential renewals. Learn More Learn more about our practice at www.mmcmed.net. To Apply Send your CV and a short cover letter describing your clinical background and interest in internal medicine.
