Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at Suburban Healthcare Associates. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult patients. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through thorough assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and health education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize advanced clinical skills to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses utilizing evidence-based practices across various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Perform procedures including suture removal Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive care plans. Provide health coaching, patient education on disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal health outcomes. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with board certification from an accredited certifying body. Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Skilled in performing clinical procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, catheter care, spinal tap procedures, dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments preferred. Previous clinical experience for 1-2 years is a plus Familiarity with specialty areas pediatrics, well women exam enhances your candidacy. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate care delivery; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
