Optimal Transportation Solutions LLC is located in Plainfield, IL and seeking a reliable and dependable NEMT Driver for a part-time 1099 independent contractor opportunity. This position is ideal for someone seeking supplemental income with limited weekly hours . Pay & Schedule $20/hour Approximately 4-5 hours per day 3-4 days per week Every other Saturday Hours may vary based on transportation needs Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass criminal background and driving record checks Must pass required drug testing Must complete required NEMT certifications/training Must be punctual, dependable, professional, and comfortable assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities

Vehicle:

Drivers do not use their personal vehicle to transport clients. A company-owned NEMT vehicle is leased to the independent contractor for transportation services. 1099

Position:

No taxes are withheld. Contractors are responsible for reporting their income and paying applicable taxes. Reliability and punctuality are essential , as our clients depend on timely transportation to and from medical appointments. •Drivers may transport both ambulatory and wheelchair members. No prior wheelchair transportation experience is required. Proper training will be provided on wheelchair securement, passenger assistance, safety procedures, and the appropriate operation of wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Drivers must be comfortable assisting members with mobility needs and successfully complete all required training and certifications.
