Practitioner will:
Participate in the care of outpatient clinic in an independent and interdependent role. Provide postoperative care including adjustments in medication. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests related to Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Plan and coordinates and follow-up of patients. Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative care in the outpatient setting. Prescribes medications on the formulary of the supervising physician. Educate and counsel patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and or medications. Coordinate care for physicians in conjunction with staff. Practitioner must be capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to details and must demonstrate a positive, professional motivated personality and demeanor.
