Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), where you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. As an FNP, you'll utilize your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions, ensuring each patient receives personalized treatment plans. Our office focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care from a Christian worldview. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Develop and implement individualized care plans, prescribing medications in accordance with DEA regulations and ensuring proper documentation within EMR/EHR systems. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory testing, sonography, and other advanced diagnostic tools. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as pain management, infectious diseases, behavioral health issues, and post-acute care needs. Provide specialized procedures including blood draws, biopsies, and mole and skin tag removals. Collaborate closely with our providers, who specialize in family medicine and gynecology, as well as outside providers to give patients all-encompassing care. Provide thorough specialty exams, including school and sports physicals, DOT exams, and surgical clearances. Requirements Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with valid certification from an accredited program. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors in memory care or assisted living environments, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks; experience managing medical records and documentation accurately. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for billing and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience performing clinical procedures like venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and sterile technique adherence. Ability to perform triage assessments efficiently while demonstrating excellent client communication skills. Knowledge of healthcare laws such as HIPAA compliance and Workers' Compensation law; familiarity with case management and utilization review processes beneficial.
