09/08/2026 Job Description Job Description Michiana Gastroenterology, Inc is a local leader in diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. As a nurse practitioner, you play a direct role in diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease), irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hepatitis B and C, pancreatitis, gallbladder disorders, cirrhosis, fatty liver and many other GI disorders. Position is clinic based - no hospital rounding, no weekends, no call, 20 and 30 minute time frame for office visits.

Requirements:

Must be a good communicator and work well with others Must be able to work office hours: 8 am to 5 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8 am to 1:30 pm Wednesday and Friday Graduate of a nurse practitioner program and certified by one of the national certifying organizations

Responsibilities:

Assess patient's needs and determine appropriate medications and/or treatments for medical conditions Maintain patient charts and documentation in accordance with all state and federal regulations Coordinate services with medical professionals regarding individual needs of patients Any other duties as assigned Some travel may be required to our other sites
