Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across multiple specialties, demonstrating proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and specialty services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations through physical examinations and review of medical histories to establish accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and behavioral health cases. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and care coordination. Provide patient education on disease management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications to promote health literacy. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Requirements Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with valid certification from a recognized certifying body. Demonstrated experience working with Epic or similar EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth. Proficiency in procedures including botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, spinal taps, sonography, and telehealth modalities. Critical care experience preferred; including ICU or Level I/II trauma center background is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Experience working with diverse populations such as pediatric patients, seniors in memory or hospice care, individuals with developmental disabilities or substance use disorders. Skills in medical documentation accuracy, HIPAA compliance standards, medication administration techniques including injections and venipuncture. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing and medical imaging; familiarity with ultrasound or sonography is advantageous. Excellent client communication skills coupled with a commitment to delivering compassionate patient-centered care across outpatient clinics or inpatient settings.
