Job Description
- Join a well-established oncology program with a respected regional healthcare organization seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing outpatient opportunity. This position offers a collaborative practice environment, manageable patient volume, strong clinical support, and long-term assignment stability.
- The provider will manage a panel of hematology and oncology patients, including follow-up visits, treatment management, and select new patient evaluations. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys building patient relationships, working within a multidisciplinary team, and providing comprehensive cancer care in an outpatient setting.

- Responsibilities
- + Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up visits + Manage treatment plans and coordinate ongoing oncology care + Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and laboratory results + Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice + Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management + Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes + Document encounters accurately within the electronic medical record •Minimum Requirements•+ Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) + Active state license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start + Minimum 3 years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience preferred + Chemotherapy certification required + Experience managing complex oncology patients + Strong care coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration skills + Current BLS certification + Ability to meet all facility credentialing requirements •Why This Opportunity?
