Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience and interest in eating disorders to join our team. Opportunity to expand to Full-Time role over time. This individual will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care within a supportive, team-based environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with other disciplines to create holistic, individualized treatment plans that support recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adolescent and adult patients with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Provide ongoing psychopharmacological treatment and monitoring. Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, physicians and other medical providers to ensure integrated care. Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and treatment planning. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management. Stay current with evidence-based practices and developments in eating disorder treatment. Skills The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills: Proficiency in EMR systems Experience with behavioral health assessments and psychopharmacology. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Experience in various medical settings such as eating disorder programs, hospital, outpatient clinics, or urgent care facilities. Strong understanding of eating disorders and behavioral health. Familiarity with telehealth services for remote patient consultations. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts with prescriptive authority. Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Minimum 2 years of psychiatric experience; prior experience in eating disorders strongly preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
