New Bedford, MA Schedule:

Patient Volume:
18-20 patients per day Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative outpatient primary care team in New Bedford, MA. The NP will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult and/or family patient population in a well-supported clinic setting. Schedule & Productivity 4x10 schedule (four 10-hour shifts per week) Expected patient volume: 18-20 patients per day Support & Resources Full clinical support including Medical Assistants (MAs) and Registered Nurses (RNs)
EPIC EMR
Collaborative physician support available Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care including acute, chronic, and preventive care Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapy within scope of practice Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and self-management Document accurately and timely in EPIC Collaborate closely with MAs, RNs, and the broader care team Participate in quality improvement and clinic workflow initiatives as needed Requirements Current, unrestricted Massachusetts NP license (or eligibility) National board certification as
FNP, PNP, ANP, OR AGNP BLS
certification (required) Experience in primary care or outpatient medicine preferred; strong new graduates with solid clinical training will be considered Comfortable managing 18-20 patients per day in a busy primary care setting Proficiency or willingness to train in
EPIC EMR
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a high-volume primary care or community health setting Familiarity with Massachusetts prescribing regulations and collaborative practice agreements This is a full-time, clinic-based role focused on delivering accessible, high-quality primary care with strong ancillary support.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
