Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP-PC) Full-Time or Part-Time|
Owings Mills, Maryland Anticipated Start:
September 2026 Job Summary A patient may forget the details of a visit, but they rarely forget whether they felt heard. At TroneHealth, we are building a medical home where compassionate care and clinical excellence coexist. We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who wants to know their patients—not simply move them through a schedule. Clinical knowledge matters. Documentation matters. Productivity matters. But so does noticing when a patient is frightened, asking one more question when the story does not add up, and explaining a diagnosis until the patient understands what comes next. If that is how you practice, there may be a place for you here. About TroneHealth TroneHealth Primary Care & Wellness Center is an independently owned, patient-centered, and team-supported practice opening in Owings Mills in September 2026. We provide insurance-based and self-pay care through in-person and telehealth appointments. Services include primary and preventive care, chronic disease management, same-day sick visits, medical weight management, anticoagulation management, DOT physicals, point-of-care testing, IV Infusion Support, and other provider-evaluated wellness services. Care That Listens—Results That Matter.™ What You'll Do Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care for adult and geriatric patients. Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct physical examinations and develop individualized care plans. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies. Prescribe medications in accordance with Maryland and federal requirements. Help patients understand their diagnoses, medications, and next steps. Build meaningful, long-term relationships with a defined patient panel. Provide same-day sick care for eligible adult and pediatric patients. Perform DOT physicals if certified—or after obtaining certification. Perform or oversee CLIA-waived point-of-care testing. Provide eligible telehealth services. Document accurately and promptly in Tebra EHR. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals. Participate in team huddles, chart reviews, quality improvement, and protocol development. Review and present one relevant clinical guideline or journal article quarterly. Participate in selected wellness services after appropriate training. Grow into expanded clinical or leadership responsibilities as the practice develops. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a provider who: Listens before prescribing. Treats every patient with kindness and dignity. Communicates complex information in language patients can understand. Practices evidence-based medicine without ego. Notices what may not be said during the visit. Documents carefully and follows through. Supports the team and asks for help when needed. Values prevention, education, and continuity of care. Can work efficiently without making patients feel rushed. Wants to help build something meaningful—not simply inherit someone else's system. Required Qualifications MSN or DNP from an accredited nurse practitioner program. Current Maryland FNP or AGNP-PC licensure—or eligibility to obtain it before starting. Current national certification through AANPCB or ANCC. Maryland CDS and federal DEA registrations—or eligibility to obtain them. Current BLS certification. At least one year of outpatient primary care or family practice NP experience. Experience managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills. Experience using an ambulatory EHR. Preferred Qualifications DNP or postgraduate fellowship training. DOT Certified Medical Examiner status or willingness to obtain it. Experience with Tebra, telehealth, medical weight management, anticoagulation management, IV therapy, or wellness services. Experience performing minor outpatient procedures. Bilingual abilities are welcomed but not required.
