Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines for controlled substances. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide health coaching and education on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and wellness strategies. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as infectious diseases, pain management issues, behavioral health concerns, and post-acute care needs. Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance patient care standards. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Proven experience working in primary care settings with proficiency in medical documentation and CPT coding for billing purposes. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to family practice.
