Job Description
Elite Health Urgent Care is a growing urgent care and primary care clinic committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and efficient care to our community. Our team values collaboration, professionalism, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice and be comfortable evaluating and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with urgent, acute, and primary care concerns Perform minor procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care, and related treatments Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging when appropriate Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans using evidence-based clinical guidelines Collaborate with supervising physicians, providers, and clinical staff to support quality patient care Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters in the EMR Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, prevention, and follow-up care Maintain professionalism, efficiency, and strong communication in a fast-paced clinic setting Qualifications Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Michigan Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner — FNP Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, or primary care preferred Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills Comfortable managing multiple patients and priorities in a busy clinical environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Schedule Flexible scheduling available Full-time and part-time opportunities Weekday and weekend availability preferred Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Why Join Us?
