About the Position Alliance Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing urgent care team. The ideal candidate will have prior Urgent Care and/or Occupational Medicine experience, be comfortable treating patients of all ages, and possess an active DOT Medical Examiner Certification. Job Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and minor emergencies. Perform comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations. Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide patient education. Treat common urgent care conditions, including respiratory illnesses, infections, minor injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and lacerations. Perform and interpret appropriate point-of-care testing and diagnostic studies. Provide Occupational Medicine services, including work-related injuries and employee health evaluations. Perform DOT physical examinations and complete required documentation in accordance with FMCSA guidelines. Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and other occupational health evaluations. Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice and clinical privileges. Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical assistants, front desk staff, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records. Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care. Follow all clinical, regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards. Participate in maintaining an efficient and positive urgent care environment. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Michigan. Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program. Current national certification appropriate to the provider's discipline. Active DOT Medical Examiner Certification is required. Prior Urgent Care and/or Occupational Medicine experience required. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying patient volumes. Current BLS certification required. Ability to complete required documentation accurately and efficiently. Schedule Full-Time 5 days per week Schedule includes weekdays and may include weekends based on clinic needs. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule. Compensation Hourly pay - competitive rate based on experience, qualifications, and clinical background.
