Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job Description Gen 3 IV Hydration and Wellness is a wellness center whose mission is to be the gold standard in high-quality healthcare through preventative care, patient empowerment, and exceptional service. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with an interest or background in Functional Medicine to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate values holistic, root-cause care and enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and functional medicine-style intakes Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating lifestyle, nutrition, supplements, and medications when appropriate Manage chronic conditions such as hormonal imbalances, autoimmune disorders, GI issues, metabolic conditions, and fatigue Order and interpret conventional and functional lab testing Educate and coach patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff per state regulations Stay current with functional and integrative medicine best practices Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program National NP certification (ANCC or AANP) DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Strong interest in functional, integrative, or lifestyle medicine Excellent communication and patient education skills Preferred Qualifications Training or certification in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or similar) Training or certification in male and female hormone therapy Experience with nutritional counseling, supplements, or lifestyle medicine Familiarity with specialty lab testing Experience in primary care, integrative medicine, or wellness practice Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based and/or retention bonus opportunities Malpractice insurance Supportive, collaborative work environment Opportunity to grow within an innovative practice If this position caught your eye, please send us an email of why you believe you would be the best candidate for this position to rachel.gen3@outlook.com
