Plastic Surgery Full Time/PRN:
Full Time Job Summary Provides high-quality healthcare services across diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments, develops and manages individualized treatment plans, supports pain management strategies, and educates patients and families. Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal outcomes, patient safety, and informed decision-making. Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (PA).
- Current national certification (FNP-C, AGNP-C, PNP-C, PA-C, etc.).
- Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pain management or geriatric care.
- Additional pediatrics or specialty certifications.
- Bilingual communication skills. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical exams.
- Develop and implement individualized care and treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Provide pain management strategies and follow-up.
- Educate patients and families on medication use, disease prevention, and self-care.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests.
- Adjust treatment plans based on clinical progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Skills
- Strong assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical judgment.
- Competency in Family Medicine, Pain Management, Geriatrics, and Pediatrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to recognize risks and promote patient safety.
Preferred:
bilingual communication abilities. Physical Requirements- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.
- Assist with patient positioning/transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Manual dexterity for clinical procedures, diagnostics, and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
