Job Description

Position Overview An established and well-known gastroenterology practice in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join it's team. The practice is mid-sized, consisting of a handful of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers. They offer a strong team-oriented environment with excellent clinical support and have a long history of training and retaining APPs in gastroenterology. Enjoy a Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no call, weekends or evenings working in their outpatient clinic. The group offers a competitive base salary with a generous incentive-based bonus structure as well. New providers are highly encouraged to apply as well as experienced candidates. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions in an outpatient setting Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing care management Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Provide patient education on digestive health, treatment options, and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team-based environment Prior experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty (e.g., internal medicine, primary care) is preferred Open to training motivated candidates with relevant clinical experience and a strong interest in GI or clinical experience What the Practice Offers Established and respected practice with a strong local reputation Collaborative team environment with experienced physicians and APPs Work-life balance with Monday through Friday outpatient schedule and no call Opportunity for training and professional growth within gastroenterology Competitive compensation depending on experience and benefits package Apply today to learn more about this excellent opportunity to break into the field of gastroenterology!
