Job Description

NP/PA Outpatient Neurology Opportunity in Kenansville, NC ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology-Kenansville, located in Kenansville, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in an outpatient neurology clinic. The successful candidate will join a growing regional outpatient neurology network of care and will provide general neurology patient assessments and management. Neurology experience is preferred. ECU Health will provide training and orientation with their established neuroscience team located in nearby Greenville, NC. ECU Health is committed to supporting provider development through a structured and comprehensive four-month training program. This onboarding experience includes extensive, hands-on training alongside a team of neurologists based in Greenville, North Carolina, ensuring a strong clinical foundation and successful transition into practice. Following completion of the training program, providers will continue to receive ongoing clinical support and collaboration with a tele-neurologist on a weekly basis.

Employment by ECU Health Physicians Outpatient only clinical care Monday-Friday 8am-5 pm schedule No call Supervision by a neurologist who will provide care and support via telemedicine services Provider will be the sole onsite neurology provider in Kenansville Inpatient support from ECU Health Duplin Hospital, a Primary Stroke Center Built in referral network Opportunity to enjoy the benefits of a small town within close proximity to Wilmington, North Carolina and the beaches of the Carolina coast Support from an established clinical neuroscience service line inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, and intraoperative monitoring. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
