Job Description
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Aesthetics, Hormone Optimization & Wellness We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing medical aesthetics and wellness practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a provider passionate about aesthetic medicine, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, and longevity-focused wellness . The ideal candidate has experience in HRT and aesthetic injectables and is interested in helping patients look, feel, and perform their best through personalized, evidence-informed treatment plans. Key Responsibilities Hormone Replacement Therapy & Wellness Evaluate and manage male and female patients with hormone deficiencies and imbalances. Order and interpret laboratory testing and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe, manage, and monitor Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) . Perform hormone pellet insertions when appropriate. Monitor patient symptoms, laboratory values, body composition, and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure safe, compliant, patient-centered care. Peptide Therapy Evaluate patients for appropriate peptide therapy as part of individualized wellness plans. Educate patients regarding potential benefits, limitations, risks, and appropriate use of peptide therapies. Prescribe and monitor peptide therapy when clinically appropriate and legally permitted. Monitor patient response, laboratory markers, side effects, and treatment outcomes. Stay current with evolving evidence, regulations, and clinical protocols surrounding peptide therapies. Medical Weight Management Conduct comprehensive weight-management evaluations. Develop individualized medical weight-loss programs incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, body composition, and medication when appropriate. Prescribe and manage GLP-1-based and other appropriate weight-management therapies within the provider's scope of practice. Monitor weight, BMI, body composition, metabolic markers, and overall patient progress. Help patients develop strategies to preserve lean muscle mass and support long-term metabolic health. Aesthetic Medicine Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and create individualized treatment plans. Administer neuromodulators , including Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. Perform dermal filler treatments, including Juvéderm, Restylane, Radiesse, and similar products. Provide or oversee treatments such as microneedling, RF therapies, chemical peels, and laser-based procedures. Provide appropriate follow-up care and develop long-term aesthetic treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation. Leadership & Practice Growth Collaborate with aestheticians, wellness providers, and administrative staff to provide an exceptional patient experience. Support consistent clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality of care. Participate in educational events, community outreach, social media, and other practice marketing initiatives. Educate patients about appropriate services and complementary treatment options. Contribute to patient retention, referrals, and overall practice growth. Qualifications Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in North Carolina . Minimum 1 year of experience in HRT and/or aesthetic medicine preferred. Hands-on experience with neuromodulators and dermal fillers strongly preferred. Experience with medical weight management, GLP-1 therapies, peptide therapy, or longevity medicine is highly desirable. Strong understanding of laboratory interpretation and individualized treatment planning. Excellent consultation, communication, and patient-education skills. Comfortable discussing treatment options, pricing, and appropriate complementary services. Strong attention to patient safety, follow-up, and clinical documentation. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
