Penn Cardiology at Cherry Hill is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Masters Physician Assistant to work full time in their Cardiovascular Department-outpatient clinic. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, while providing quality care across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team, will provide care for our patients in the ambulatory setting in the Cherry Hill and Mt. Laurel office. In this position, the advanced practice provider will care for both cardiology and vascular medicine patients. The position requires a high level of independence and is well supported with a collaborative and multi-disciplinary practice model. The Advanced Practice Provider will have the opportunity to improve care to this population by participation in a robust performance improvement program. This is a high paced, dynamic environment rich with opportunity for professional growth. Membership is encouraged in professional societies like the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA). The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible to promote organizational values of patient and visitor satisfaction by demonstrating courtesy and respect for all their families, visitors, and other employees. Cares for patients in all age groups from young adults through geriatrics. Demonstrates competence in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients served.
Hours:
M-F (4-10 hr shifts); no weekends/holidays Required credentials:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner/PA
  • NJ CRNP licensure (CRNP)
  • NJ Prescriptive Authority
National Board Certification Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • Master of Arts or Science required
  • Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing required

Salary Range:
$83,200.00 - $208,000.00/Annually based on 40 hours per week As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
