Job Description

Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Women's Health department. The NP will rotate in Clark, and Westfield locations affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurse practitioners looking to expand their skillset. The Nurse Practitioner is expected to provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and low-risk obstetric care, including wellness examinations, early pregnancy management, prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients, patient education, contraceptive counseling, and management of common women's health conditions. The role may also include office-based procedures such as IUD insertion and removal and endometrial biopsies, based on the candidate's training, competency, and organizational privileging requirements. Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the State of New Jersey with appropriate national certification. Master's degree (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) program. Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) certification required. Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Current CDS and DEA registration (or eligible to obtain upon hire). 3-5 years of Women's Health experience preferred. Current BLS certification EPIC experience preferred.
