A community-focused healthcare organization serving a medically underserved population in Clayton, NM is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner full-time! New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Full-time, Tuesday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay:
$120,000-$150,000 annually plus a full benefits package and up to $15,000 relocation assistance and potentially eligible for HRSA and other student loan repayment programs! The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for but may not be limited to: Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventative health screenings Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with New Mexico regulations Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic health record Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs Promote access to healthcare services for underserved and vulnerable populations
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Mexico New graduate Nurse Practitioners are welcome to apply Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking skills, communication and patient education Passion for serving medically underserved populations BLS certification
