The Mission:

In this vital role, you will perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams to help Veterans receive the benefits and care they have earned through their service. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Evaluations:
Perform focused physical examinations and medical histories for Veterans seeking disability benefits.
Clinical Assessment:
Review medical records and utilize your clinical judgment to provide objective findings on service-connected conditions.
Documentation:
Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to complete thorough, timely, and accurate medical-legal reports.
Patient Advocacy:
Provide a compassionate and empathetic experience for Veterans, ensuring they feel heard and respected throughout the examination process.
Streamlined Workflow:
Focus exclusively on assessments and diagnostics; this role involves no ongoing treatment, prescribing, or long-term case management.
Qualifications & Skills Licensure:
Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New Mexico .
Education:
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong clinical foundation are encouraged to apply.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks).
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with Veterans from all branches of service. Attention to
Detail:

We also have full time and part time employment for Nurse Practitioners/Audiologist doing VA Disability Exams. We offer flexible, PRN, and contract positions.
