Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Primary Care Locum Physician to provide outpatient coverage in Coxsackie, NY. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive adult primary care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care visits. Responsibilities include performing exams, ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostics, managing medications, coordinating care with specialists, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR. You'll collaborate with onsite staff, follow clinic protocols and quality standards, and ensure compassionate, patient-centered care while adapting to varying schedules and patient volumes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive adult primary care in an outpatient setting Conduct history, physical exams, and preventive health visits Manage chronic diseases and acute care complaints Order, interpret, and act on lab and diagnostic test results Prescribe and manage medications per guidelines Document all encounters accurately in the EMRCoordinate care with specialists and support staff Follow clinic protocols, quality, and compliance standards Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance Adapt to varying locum schedules and patient volumes Required Skills Adult primary care Chronic disease management Acute care evaluation Preventive medicine EMR documentation Ordering and interpreting labs Medication management Care coordination Patient counseling and education Regulatory and compliance knowledge
