Job Description Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Location:

Finger Lakes Region, NY | Full-Time | Direct Hire A leading healthcare organization in the Finger Lakes region is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a collaborative orthopedic team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work closely with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff while providing comprehensive care in both clinic and surgical settings.

Compensation:

$115,000-$135,000 annually

Position Responsibilities Include:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care and assist with surgical procedures when applicable
  • Order and interpret imaging and laboratory studies
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on recovery and prevention
  • Perform procedures including joint injections, splinting, and casting
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support high-quality patient outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current state licensure, national certification, and DEA license or eligibility
  • Orthopedic, fracture care, or musculoskeletal experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
