Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate care plans. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring safe and effective medication management. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization. Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, gastroenterology, and pain management. Utilize our electronic health record (EHR) systems Advanced MD for accurate documentation of medical records, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and billing processes such as CPT coding. Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with valid certification to practice independently or under collaborative agreements. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms (Level I & II trauma centers), ICU or critical care units, outpatient clinics, or nursing homes. Hands-on experience performing procedures like suturing, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and IV infusion. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology (including drug enforcement regulations), and diagnostic evaluation methods. Experience working with special populations such as pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (memory care & dementia), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and utilization review processes. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching; ability to work effectively in fast-paced urgent care or emergency settings. $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
