Nurse Practitioner Shift - Day shift (8:00a - 4:30p) Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to determine health status. Diagnose illnesses and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following proper protocols and safety standards. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, dermal fillers, spinal taps, catheterizations, and laser treatments for esthetic or medical purposes. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Engage in clinical research activities or quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare practices. Provide patient education on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. Requirements Minimum of one (1) year Nurse practitioner experience. Prior experience in an inpatient setting strongly preferred. Must be NYS licensed/registered Nurse practitioner or NYS licensed/registered or NCCPA certified or eligible Physician Assistant required Possession of Medicare NPl# or eligibility to apply for same required.
