We are seeking warm and razor smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes in Ilion, NY. As psychiatric nurse practitioners working at Ivy you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations. Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents and families. Proactively follow-up with patients and assess efficacy of recommended interventions. Provide education on best practices. Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.The candidate:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Active Connecticut Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License ANCC Board Certification Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Strong patient assessment skills. Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic.Benefits:
