Job Description
$90 a hour solo rate based on seeing 3.5 patients per hour. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including but not limited to, hospitals, clinics, and specialty practices. This position requires a strong commitment to patient health, adherence to medical standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Perform medication administration and manage treatment plans under physician supervision. Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on urgency. Administer basic life support when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Provide care for senior patients, addressing their unique health needs. Skills Strong understanding of medical standards and best practices in patient care. Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols. Experience or training in medical-surgical environments is preferred. Excellent triage skills to assess patient conditions accurately. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus. Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and their applications in patient care. Experience working with senior care populations is advantageous. Ability to perform phlebotomy with precision and care. Knowledge of trauma care principles applicable within a Level I Trauma Center setting. Competence in performing spinal taps with adherence to safety standards.
