Job Description

Ankle and Foot Specialists of Marion is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to add to our growing practice! This provider will participate in all aspects of patient care as indicated and perform the duties described below.
Job Details:
  • Wound Care
  • Podiatric Medicine and Surgery:
    Outpatient care, wound care, post operative care, sports medicine, laser therapy

K, Profit Sharing Essential Duties and Qualifications:
  • Attend outpatient clinic and Hospital patients by participating in the initial evaluation, as well as, longitudinal care of patients.
  • Obtain detailed medical history and perform comprehensive physical examination of patients.
  • Perform laser therapy for a variety of conditions including wound care, pain and inflammation, nail disorders.
  • Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing.
  • Complete appropriate documentation of all evaluations, care and services rendered to the patient in their medical record in a timely fashion.
  • Make appropriate referral for consultations when indicated.
  • Provide both pre and post-operative patient education to patients and their families.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries of patients and provide appropriate medical care, referral for consultation or counseling.
Organization and task assignment to other healthcare team members (RN's, MA's and technicians) to facilitate flow of patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted medical license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant within the state of Ohio.
  • Ability to develop relationships with network and community physicians and other providers.
  • Current DEA licensure and prescriptive authority in Ohio
  • Ability to work on-site with diverse care teams in a variety of settings
  • Effective time management and communication skills
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$90,000.00
  • $130,000.
