Innovo is looking to hire a Psych Nurse Practitioner who will be responsible and accountable for the assessment and care of the patients by collaborating with both the medical and clinical teams to establish appropriate treatment plans. Nurse Practitioners complete the history and physicals for patients and serve as a member of the medical team to assist colleagues as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will add patient documentation into the EMR system and communicate directly with the clinical and medical team, as appropriate regarding patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of health principles, practices and techniques; thorough knowledge of physical examination and diagnosis procedures, equipment and skill in performing such examinations and procedures; good knowledge of the current developments, literature and sources of information in the field of health services; ability to establish and maintain good public and inter-personal relations, ability to prepare oral and written reports; tact; dependability; initiative; confidentiality; capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule for this candidate will likely be a 4 day work week and include an on-call requirement to be discussed in further detail during an interview.
