Aspirational Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong background and interest in behavioral and mental health to join our growing integrated primary care and behavioral health team. We are a multidisciplinary primary care practice focused on long-term wellness, preventive care, identifying underlying contributors to illness, and longevity-focused wellbeing . Our model brings multiple disciplines together to provide coordinated, whole-person care. Our clinical focus areas include comprehensive primary care, women's health, metabolic health, hormonal health, nutrition, physical therapy, and behavioral health. Our Behavioral Health Team Behavioral health is an important part of our primary care model. Our current team includes a Physician Assistant with advanced behavioral health experience who works closely with our primary care physician to provide behavioral health consultations, medication management, counseling, and follow-up. We also have a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides psychotherapy, counseling, and additional support to our patients. We are seeking a second NP or PA who is passionate about behavioral health and interested in caring primarily for patients with mental and behavioral health conditions within a primary care setting. The Position The practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and closely follow patients with common behavioral health conditions encountered in primary care, including: Major depressive disorder Generalized anxiety and other anxiety disorders

ADHD OCD

Sleep disorders Substance use concerns Stress and adjustment disorders Other common mood and behavioral health conditions The role includes clinical evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, patient education, counseling, therapeutic interventions, and longitudinal follow-up . Our Approach Our approach to behavioral health goes beyond medication management alone. We focus on understanding the biological, psychological, behavioral, lifestyle, and social factors contributing to a patient's condition. Treatment may incorporate evidence-based medication management along with cognitive behavioral techniques, psychodynamic concepts, mindfulness strategies, motivational interviewing, behavioral modification, lifestyle interventions, and close follow-up . Our goal is to provide thoughtful and individualized care while avoiding unnecessary medication escalation or overly complicated medication regimens when symptoms can be effectively addressed through a combination of therapy, education, behavioral interventions, lifestyle changes, and appropriate pharmacologic treatment. Because we practice within an integrated primary care environment, behavioral health clinicians can also collaborate with practitioners working in primary care, women's health, metabolic and hormonal health, nutrition, physical therapy, and preventive medicine . Behavioral Health Within Primary Care Primary care is often the first place patients turn when they begin experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep problems, attention concerns, stress, or other behavioral health symptoms. Our goal is to provide these patients with timely evaluation, treatment, counseling, medication management when appropriate, and close follow-up without automatically requiring them to enter a separate psychiatric system for conditions that can be appropriately managed within primary care. Our experience has shown that patients value and trust the relationship they have with their primary care team and are often more engaged in follow-up, medication management, and therapy when behavioral health care is accessible within the primary care setting. This close relationship also allows the primary care team to help patients recognize when specialty psychiatric care is needed, facilitate appropriate referrals, and remain actively involved in coordinating care with psychiatric specialists. Patients with complex psychiatric disorders, refractory conditions, significant diagnostic uncertainty, or those requiring advanced psychiatric medication management are appropriately referred to psychiatry or other specialty behavioral health services. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should: Be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Have significant experience in behavioral or mental health, minimum 2 years. Be comfortable diagnosing and treating common psychiatric conditions Have strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and medication management Be comfortable incorporating counseling and therapeutic techniques into patient visits Understand when specialty psychiatric referral is appropriate Value longitudinal relationships and close patient follow-up Be interested in integrative and whole-person medicine Enjoy working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Advanced certification, education, or specialized training in behavioral health, psychiatry, psychotherapy, counseling, or a related field is strongly preferred . Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Physician Assistants with advanced behavioral health or psychiatric training are encouraged to apply.
