Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) UPMC Williamsport | Hospital Medicine UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join the Hospitalist team at UPMC Williamsport Regional Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic inpatient setting within a 226-bed Level II Trauma Center serving 14 counties across North Central Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact managing a broad range of complex medical conditions while working alongside an experienced, collaborative hospital medicine team. Schedule & Work-Life Balance 7-on / 7-off | 14 shifts / month Overnight schedule: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Consistent block scheduling supporting work-life balance Eligible for competitive shift-based differential compensation Opportunity for telemedicine coverage after orientation Compensation & Incentives Competitive salary based on experience Enhanced compensation through overnight shift differential Sign-on bonus available

What You'll Do Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and complex medical conditions Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient assessments Collaborate with physicians and subspecialists to ensure coordinated care Utilize telemedicine as part of care delivery following orientation Document care and ensure effective transitions across the care team
Qualifications:
Knowledge of growth and development principles Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan Ability to assess patient data and deliver care per departmental policies Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina and dexterity required for direct patient care Successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, where applicable.
Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances:
