$74.87/hr Position Overview A-Line Staffing is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Virtual Care Weekend + PRN Support for a fully remote contract opportunity.
This role provides patient care services through a virtual technology platform while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will have strong primary care experience, excellent virtual communication skills, and the ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients remotely. Candidates must hold at least three active, unrestricted NP licenses in the following states: CT, GA, NC, ND, NJ, NY, PA, SC, SD, VA, WI, or WV Candidates must have prior primary care or urgent care experience. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered. Schedule

Patient Care & Clinical Services - Provide virtual primary care services for patients ages 18 months and older, including:
- Comprehensive assessments
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Medication management
- Health counseling and education
- Care coordination and disposition planning
- Evaluate primary care, acute care, chronic illness, and transitional care patients through a remote care platform
- Provide patient education related to:
- Health maintenance
- Pregnancy prevention
- STI prevention and safer sex practices
- Contraceptive care counseling
- Medication management
- Document all patient encounters accurately within the electronic health record (EHR)
- Coordinate care with internal and external healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, providers, and other healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes Patient Experience & Communication
- Deliver excellent virtual patient care and customer service
- Build patient engagement through effective communication and education
- Adapt communication style to meet individual patient needs
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and PHI requirements Clinical Operations & Support
- Work independently while prioritizing patient needs and business requirements
- Manage clinical responsibilities while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain clinical competency
- Support operational needs, including:
- Following up on lab results
- Responding to patient inquiries

- Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active, unrestricted NP license in at least three of the following states:
- Connecticut (CT)
- Georgia (GA)
- North Carolina (NC)
- North Dakota (ND)
- New Jersey (NJ)
- New York (NY)
- Pennsylvania (PA)
- South Carolina (SC)
- South Dakota (SD)
- Virginia (VA)
- Wisconsin (WI)
- West Virginia (WV)
- Minimum 2 years of medically relevant Nurse Practitioner experience
- Prior primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience required
- Active RN and APRN licenses in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- BLS from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Ability to practice independently and make sound clinical decisions remotely
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a remote healthcare team Required Documentation Candidates must provide:

- Must be willing and able to obtain additional state licensure as business needs require Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with multi-state licensure who is comfortable delivering autonomous, patient-centered care in a virtual environment.
This provider should be skilled in managing diverse patient populations, communicating effectively through telehealth technology, and collaborating with a remote clinical care team.
