The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with mental health disorders, while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide medication management, including administration and monitoring of psychotropic medications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients across various settings. Engage in telehealth consultations as needed to expand access to care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance the field of psychiatric nursing. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Tebra and BoomerangFX Experience in behavioral health settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or emergency medicine. Familiarity with psychopharmacology and medication administration protocols. Background in critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and patient assessment methods. Experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Competence in performing procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, suturing, and catheterization. Understanding of case management principles and utilization review processes. Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation.
