Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop personalized care plans Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and emergency medicine Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, spinal taps, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately and efficiently Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes Provide health coaching, triage services, and patient education to promote wellness and disease prevention Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; telehealth experience is a plus Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Hands-on experience with procedures like suturing, venipuncture, catheter care, tube feeding management, and sterile processing Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center settings highly preferred Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Ability to perform complex assessments in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics Excellent client communication skills with a passion for delivering compassionate healthcare services Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to advancing healthcare excellence!
