•Choose Your Own Hours Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our growing outpatient psychiatric practice on a PRN independent-contractor basis. This is a primarily remote/telehealth position with occasional in-person coverage at our Rochester, NY office when needed. The position offers a highly flexible schedule. Providers may choose their own available hours and days based on their availability and the needs of the practice. Applicants must currently reside in New York State and be willing and able to provide occasional in-person coverage in Rochester. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy when clinically appropriate. Compensation Compensation is paid per completed encounter and ranges from $40

•120 per encounter , depending on visit type and services provided. Depending on scheduling and visit type, estimated compensation is approximately $80

•120+ per clinical hour . Psychotherapy services must be medically necessary, actually performed, appropriately documented, and meet applicable payer and coding requirements. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluations, including psychiatric history, mental status examinations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning. Diagnose psychiatric conditions and document appropriate ICD-10 diagnoses. Provide ongoing psychiatric medication management. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with federal and New York requirements. Provide brief supportive psychotherapy when clinically appropriate. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the electronic health record. Provide psychiatric services primarily through secure telehealth platforms. Provide occasional in-person psychiatric coverage at the Rochester office when needed . Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, potential adverse effects, treatment options, and appropriate follow-up. Coordinate care with therapists, primary care clinicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional standards of confidentiality. Required Qualifications Must currently reside in New York State. Must be willing and able to provide occasional in-person services in Rochester, NY. Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted New York State RN license. Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry. Current

certification. Current DEA registration if prescribing controlled substances. More than 3,600 hours of qualifying Nurse Practitioner practice experience and eligibility to practice in New York without a written physician collaborative practice agreement. Approximately 2 or more years of psychiatric NP experience preferred. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric medication management. Experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and managing outpatient psychiatric conditions. Comfortable practicing independently as a 1099 contractor. Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills. Telepsychiatry experience preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced New York PMHNP who is dependable, clinically confident, responsive, and comfortable independently managing an outpatient psychiatric caseload. The provider should value evidence-based prescribing, appropriate documentation, continuity of care, and collaborative communication. Because this is a hybrid position, the provider must be able to travel to the Rochester office for occasional in-person coverage when needed .
