PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

to join our healthcare team. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients across various age groups, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients and their families. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring their effectiveness and side effects. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex mental health issues. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Stay updated on best practices in psychiatric care, including advancements in urgent care, occupational health, and other relevant areas. Requirements Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and education. Ability to provide health coaching and support for lifestyle changes that promote mental well-being.
