PMHNP Full Job Description Compensation:
$1,000/month base retainer + $60 per patient consult — total monthly pay scales directly with your patient volume as the practice grows. This is a per diem/contract role with flexible scheduling and real upside as the practice builds a full patient panel. A new psychiatric and ketamine treatment practice launching in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a lead prescribing provider. The clinic will offer both general psychiatric care and ketamine-assisted treatment for conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and treatment-resistant mood disorders. We're building a compliance-first practice from the ground up, with modern systems, dedicated clinical support staff, and a genuine opportunity to help shape a new clinic's protocols and patient experience from day one. Position Overview You'll serve as lead prescribing provider on a per diem basis — conducting patient evaluations, managing medication treatment plans, and prescribing controlled substances (including ketamine) under your own independent authority. Schedule and volume are flexible. Required Qualifications Active Nevada APRN license with PMHNP certification Verified independent Nevada prescribing authority for Schedule II-V controlled substances (2,000 hours / 2 years of supervised practice completed — must be independent, not currently under a collaborative agreement) Active, unrestricted DEA registration (or ability to obtain one for our practice location) Experience with psychiatric medication management; ketamine administration experience preferred but not required (training/protocols provided) Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and manage ongoing psychiatric medication treatment Oversee ketamine treatment protocols, including patient screening and monitoring plans Collaborate with clinical support staff (RN) on patient care coordination Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all controlled-substance prescribing What We Offer Flexible scheduling — telehealth and/or in-person options available The opportunity to build clinical protocols and shape the practice from its earliest stage A dedicated RN supporting patient intake, chart prep, and care coordination, so your time is focused on clinical decision-making Professional development assistance for ketamine-specific training/certification To Apply Please submit your resume along with confirmation of your current Nevada APRN license and independent prescribing authority status.
