Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Psychiatry or Mental Health Nursing. Proven experience working with behavioral health patients across diverse settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or assisted living facilities. Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychopharmacology, and clinical research methodologies. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Athenahealth or Cerner for efficient medical documentation. Experience in acute care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations confidently.
