Join the largest and most comprehensive nephrology group in South Carolina! At Columbia Nephrology, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate kidney care. With 19 Physicians, 12 Advanced Practitioners, and 4 offices serving the Midlands, we are a leader in nephrology care and innovation. We are currently seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join us.
Job Summary:
Columbia Nephrology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing team! The provider will work collaboratively with physicians to manage patient care, focusing on nephrology, hypertension, and related conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and developing treatment plans, managing chronic conditions, and educating patients about their health. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient care, with a patient-centered approach to healthcare. Key Responsibilities o Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning o Proficiency in managing chronic conditions, including nephrology and hypertension o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team o Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting and manage multiple responsibilities o Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development o Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative teams. ---
Requirements:
o Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program o Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in South Carolina o Nephrology experience is a plus but not required
