Job Description

What We Offer Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Gastroenterology team serving the Hardeeville and Bluffton, South Carolina communities. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding specialty program focused on increasing access to high-quality digestive health services throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Responsibilities may include:
Evaluate and manage new and established Gastroenterology patients Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies Provide pre- and post-procedure follow-up as appropriate Provide medication management and patient education Coordinate care with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care providers, and other specialists Support timely access and continuity of care for patients throughout the market Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives Support continued growth and development of Gastroenterology services What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current or eligible South Carolina Nurse Practitioner licensure Current or eligible national board certification Current or eligible prescriptive authority BLS certification required Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or related clinical experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality patient care Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a physician and APP team environment Why Choose Novant Health? Qualifications:
