Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care across diverse medical settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals, utilize advanced clinical skills, and provide exceptional care to patients of all ages. You will conduct thorough assessments, and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols and collaborative practice agreements. Your expertise will contribute to improving health outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Duties Perform detailed physical examinations, and comprehensive patient histories to inform accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens following HIPAA regulations, DEA guidelines, and clinical best practices. Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Macpractice, to document findings clearly and efficiently. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including gastroenterology, geriatrics, behavioral health, and critical care environments. Assist in procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and discharge planning. Engage in telehealth consultations utilizing telemedicine platforms to expand access to care and support remote patient management. Diagnose and treat patient illnesses. Prescribes medication as needed. Educate and counsel patients regarding healthcare needs. Well Child/Acute appointment for all patients Suture removal Facilitate patient referrals to the appropriate physician for care Wart removal Follow all applicable laws and regulations (State, Federal Agency) in the practice of medicine. Monday-Saturday schedule in Lancaster and prn Saturday Monday-Friday schedule in
Indian Land/Lancaster Education or Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or University; must be a Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Required to meet any state requirements for a Nurse Practitioner. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Certificates and Licenses:

In person Qualifications Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current state licensure. Demonstrated experience working with electronic health records (EHR/MacPractice) and medical documentation standards. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding systems, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly across pediatric to geriatric populations; experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus.
