We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and patient-focused PRN/Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced dermatology provider looking for a flexible schedule while practicing in a fast-paced, collaborative dermatology environment. The provider will primarily deliver general and medical dermatology care in the Chattanooga area at two new office locations: -Cleveland, TN -Hixson, TN Candidates with previous dermatology experience are strongly preferred. Candidates who reside in or near the Chattanooga area are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with general and medical dermatologic conditions Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, shave removals, excisions, and other office-based dermatologic procedures within scope of practice Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and skin cancer prevention Document patient encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks (ECW) Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care Maintain efficient patient flow while delivering compassionate, high-quality care Preferred Qualifications Current Tennessee Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) Previous dermatology experience strongly preferred Experience performing dermatologic procedures preferred Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is a plus Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Reliable transportation Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Requirements Current Tennessee NP or PA license DEA license (or ability to obtain) BLS Certification Reliable transportation Ability to travel between clinic locations Ability to work in person Strong teamwork and patient-centered care skills Why Join Us?
